Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich 2025, an event that gathers thousands of runners from every corner of the world each year.
Although the city woke up under a blanket of dark clouds that threatened rain, nothing could dampen the enthusiasm of the runners and spectators who came together to celebrate this new edition of the Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Marathon 2025. From the earliest hours, the air was filled with music, color, banners, and smiles. Every avenue in Valencia turned into a festival of sport, reaffirming why this city is known as the World Capital of Running.
Despite the uncertain weather, crowds filled the streets with umbrellas, drums, and flags. The excitement was palpable on every corner. When the rain finally made its brief appearance, it only added an epic touch, giving even more value to each stride and every effort made by the athletes.
Waking up early for the departure
A river of illusion
As night gave way to the first light of dawn, thousands of participants and spectators began making their way to the starting line. Some jogged to warm up, others walked together in groups, chatting and sharing nerves and excitement. The atmosphere was electric an ocean of color, anticipation, and unity.

The City Awakens to the Roar of the Marathon
When the starting gun finally echoed through the streets, a collective roar spread across the city. The sound of applause mixed with the rhythm of thousands of running shoes striking the pavement. Valencia transformed into one massive celebration of strength, perseverance, and joy.
Every avenue, every square, and every bridge was alive with cheering crowds. From balconies hung flags, while children waved handmade posters. The runners, in return, smiled, waved, and thanked the public for their contagious energy.
The start line was set on Avenida de los Tarongers, in front of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. From there, runners began a journey that beautifully intertwined physical effort with the urban and architectural beauty of the city. Applause, volunteer smiles, and the rhythm of music turned Valencia into a living, breathing festival.
